Workshop Goals
One of the primary goals of the URISA Alabama is to promote professional education. A strong component of this is to host URISA certified workshops. These workshops span a wide variety of topics. They are designed to provide educational opportunities for both IT and GIS managers and staff interested in spatial information. We hope that you will invite other professionals as well. There may be a topic that you may co nsider fundamental but a public leader may get great benefit and gain a greater understanding of what you do. A peer in another profession may not be able to understand a solution to a problem using GIS. A workshop may help this process. A topic may not be of interest right now but may provide you with research information you might be able to use later. So please keep an open mind on all topics and always consider inviting others. Your comments would help us in the future.
